Zalath, Hunter in the Fog

Description: Zalath is coal black with little gold highlights on the tips of his wings, tail and along the spines on his back. His eyes are a mix of gold and black, though more gold then black. He has blue lining the gold colored areas of his body. He is 27 feet tall with a length of twice that and his wing span is about the same length as he his long. His horns are a dark grey tipped with gold and blue. The spines on his back are able to be flatted individually, which would allow a rider if he get one to sit comfortably on his back without compromising his flight by having all of the spines flattened.

Personality: At first he seems cold, distance and uncaring and in many ways he is. He will not hesitate to use those he thinks are unimportant or are not his equal and does anything he can to keep this appearance up. After losing everything important to him, he has a hard time opening up to others and will distance himself to save him from becoming attached to anyone. Underneath he is truly caring and hidden even deeper than that is he is slightly timid and naive, but lonely. (His timid and naïve nature are hidden so deep even he forgets what he was like before he lost everything)  His greatest fear is to lose those that he does care for, even if he doesn't show it. In desperate situations his caring nature comes to life and will do his utmost best to save or help whoever he has become attached to, if they are in trouble.

Ability:  Zalath's ability to create and control fog. This fog's temperature and how dark/light or how thick it is depending on his current mood and if he is trying to control it. The calmer he is the better he can control it while the more frantic he is the less he is able to control it. He uses it as a way to hide his escape, get a break or as a distraction while fighting. Or just not to be seen in general. It's default form is black and of a medium thickness.

He seems like an Enforcer to me, but you'd need a partner for that. Until you find one, he could probably pass as a blacksmith.
